Awwww, sad! Sondre didn't get Peter Parker. Not that I was entirely sure that he would but it would have been SO COOL.
But today has been a good day. I haven't been able to say that I've had a good day in a while, so this is nice. I think the snaps cups definitely helped; I really like the opportunity to say nice things to you all, and reading what you guys have commented to me makes me really happy.
I have a bit of work to do this weekend, but it isn't too bad (knock on wood- haha!). I would love to write/rp with some of you guys, so please comment or shoot me an im or email or something if you're interested!

I didn't count my Oliver app, since a lot of it was reused stuff from previous versions of Oliver. But omg SOCLOSE to 50%!
Still no word from Incanto; I know 91 doesn't do adds until Monday. I can't help but be nervous; Joanna's a completely new character for me and a bit different from most of my other characters.
It is 7:30 and I am at Toyota waiting for the truck to get washed. I have coffee and a danish and strawberries romanoff and it is glorious. I seriously need to get myself an espresso maker and learn how to make this romanoff sauce. They're also talking about Fort Hood on tv; I don't personally know anybody there but I have friends who have friends and the like- my thoughts are with the families and friends who lost loved ones there.
And thank you to everybody who's replied to my thread on the snaps cups-- I'm slowly working my way through replying to everybody I know well enough to say something to.
Good golly we're getting up to 80 degrees today. In November. I MISS HAVING AN AUTUMN. And I will stop talking now and post this.

That's not so bad, I think. I can knock a lot of that out tonight/tomorrow. I also lost my Visa check card today and managed to call the bank to cancel it and request a new one and I didn't have an anxiety attack. Hooray! And I survived classes today and went to the Holocaust museum for my Shoah class and nearly cried during the movie and now I'm at home and just finished dinner and am about to start on Italian homework. And work on my word count.

My body cannot seem to decide if it is about to get sick or not. I can feel my throat being sore when I swallow, but it doesn't hurt just normally, so I'm not sure what's going on. If I'm going to get sick, though, I wish it would happen so I can just get over it. November is not going to be a fun month for me if I do.
So I was accepted at BNW again, and I've just added a bunch of you ladies to my flist and aim list so hello there! Ooh, and I just got the email to be added at Isolation, so I get to intro kids there later too!
This also means that I've updated my cast list, which you can find here. :D
Today I'm making calzones again- smaller ones this time so that I can pack them for my lunch this week. I also have a few apples and some pre-made pie crust to make a few small apple hand pies to pack as well. Because I love apples nearly as much as I love bananas and it is starting to cool down (everywhere but here, it seems), apple pies sounded like a really good idea. Especially as the grocery store had a huuuuge display of different varieties of apples. It seemed like a good idea at the time, at least!
I also plan to do up the BNW Quidditch scores; I should be able to get those posted soon-ish. I'll roll for wins and scores, of course, to keep it fair.
Annndddd yes. I'm going to go check on my calzones and go work on things.
ETA: First draft of BNW's November Pro Quidditch is done and emailed to Emily, calzones are cooking before I wrap them up annndddd yes. That is all for now.

I finished Ava today. :] BNW, I may return! And Bailey will probably be making a return as well, so I'm definitely up for friends or storylines or anything!
Today was, all in all, a pretty good day. I had a meeting with my British Empire professor this morning, and she really won me over. Yeah, I hate how she always talk so long that I'm late to Italian every day, but she really listened and seemed enthusiastic about my response when she asked about where I'm at in college right now and I told her about wanting to work for the government eventually and she really put the classes I'm taking into perspective. So that was pretty cool.
I have a lot I need to do and it seems like very little time to actually do any of it so in an attempt to get organized, I'm going to make another list.

Haha between RPWriMo and all my papers and projects coming up, I am definitely writing over 50,000 words this month.
And now I post this and go upstairs to change and start working on my room stuff.

New layout, btw! venezia if you want to check it out :) The original coding was splott's (found at ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) kerning) and the artwork is Kurt Halsey but I kind of love it.
I discovered this morning that I am out of Irish Breakfast Tea. This must be remedied. I did, however, find Scottish Breakfast and English Breakfast Teas (as well as a number of other teas- when I went to London I had a field day at the Twining's shop and brought back a lot of tea that I haven't even finished yet). But I think I may go pick up some more tea this afternoon. Tea and something for my lunch tomorrow, I think. A trip to Walmart may be in order.
I met with my advisor this morning. It went well enough; she didn't make me feel stupid or anything, and I managed to not cry until she asked how things are going at home. She also asked about what I want to do career-wise after I graduate and I totally forgot to tell her about possibly applying for the US Embassy/Consulate job. But that's a 2 year application process, so I'm not going to worry about that until after I've settled in Cincinnati.
I can do this. I'm so, so ready to be done here and have Texas put behind me. So, so ready.
I have so much I need to do, and I feel like I don't know how to do it all. I know it seems like my last few posts have just been a lot of whining and then me trying to reassure myself of positivity, but..I just need to keep doing this. It's just two and a half months more.
RP-wise, I'm pretty happy with the things I have going. I'm getting back into writing historical things- _kyri and I have one based in 18th century France (pre-French Revolution) and I love it to pieces.
I could ramble on for much longer but I think I will resist for now.

Oh! I'm reminded! I finished the newest in the Outlander series, Echo in the Bone, the other day. I really liked it- much of it read like the original Outlander book, though the end felt a little rushed. I keep reaching for the book like it'll magically have all the answers; I don't know if I can wait the three or four or however many years for the next one to come out. I'll cut the rest in case of spoilers. [IE Jeanne, don't read this until you've read the book :p ]
